Chili Cakes

Ingredients

  • 400 g yellow split peas (soaked in water for 24 hours)

  • 1 large onion

  • 10 curry leaves

  • 2 chilis

  • salt

  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs


Procedure

  1. Rinse the yellow split peas 3 times.

  2. Blend to a paste.

  3. Add chopped onion, the curry leaves (finely cut), bread crumbs and minced chili.

  4. Mix everything and add salt to taste.

  5. Make small balls from the mixture and deep fry in rapeseed oil until golden brown.
