Steamed Zucchini

Ingredients

  • 1/2 onion

  • 3 cloves of garlic

  • 2 medium/large tomatoes

  • 2 large zucchinis

  • 5 curry leaves

  • 10 g ginger

  • Salt

  • Black pepper, ground

  • 1-2 fresh chilis


Procedure

  1. Chop the zucchinis and tomatoes. Finely cut the onion, ginger, chillis and garlic cloves.

  2. Rinse the zucchinis in water.

  3. Start with frying the onion, ginger, curry leaves and garlic in a frying pan, until they (except for curry leaves) get a light brown colour.

  4. Then add the tomato and zucchini; add the chilli and salt & pepper to taste.

  5. Steam at medium to high heat, under a lid.
